SPECIAL MEETING

NBFD Fire Station – 444 E. Chubbuck Road

1. OPEN MEETING - Opened at 5:00pm by Board President Shell

2. ROLL CALL - Board President/Commissioner Shell, Commissioner Johnson, Fire Chief Brood, Board Secretary Ramirez

3. ACTION ITEMS:

   1. Approval of agenda - Commissioner Johnson moved and was seconded by Commissioner Shell to approve the agenda. The motion passed unanimously.

   2. Approval of shipping costs for the tender

      1. Chief Brood has looked for additional estimates for shipping the tender to Idaho. All of the estimates have been in the $7,000 - $7,500 range like the quote from Brindlee.

      2. It would be cheaper to go pick the tender up, but then there would be hotel, food costs, and the time for the chief to be away plus additional mileage on the tender.

      3. Commissioner Johnson moved and was seconded by Commissioner Shell to approve and pay the invoice from Brindlee Mountain for $7,480 to ship the tender to Idaho. The motion passed unanimously.

      4. Commissioner Johnson will go to the bank tomorrow and wire transfer 2 payments to Brindlee to pay the balance for the tender and to pay for shipping.

5. ADJOURNMENT - Commissioner Johnson moved and was seconded by Commissioner Shell to adjourn the meeting. The meeting closed at 5:03pm.
