SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

NBFD Fire Station – 444 E. Chubbuck Road

March 23, 2023 @ 5:30pm

1. OPEN MEETING - Commissioner Shell opened the session at 5:30pm.

2. ROLL CALL - Commissioner Shell, Commissioner Curtis, Chief Brood, and Secretary Metz were all present in person and Commissioner Johnson appeared via Google Meet. 

3. ACTION ITEMS:

   1. Approval of agenda - Commissioner Johsnon made a motion and was seconded by Commissioner Curtis to approve the agenda. The motion passed unanimously.

4. EXECUTIVE SESSION - Commissioner Curtis made the motion and was seconded by commissioner Johnson to convene in Executive session Pursuant to Idaho Code § 74-206 the board will convene in Executive Session to consider personnel matters & To acquire an interest in real property not owned by a public agency [Idaho Code §74-206(1)(a) & (c)]. The motion passed unanimously. Executive session convened at 5:31 pm. 

5. The Special Meeting Session was reconveined at 7:15 pm

1. EXECUTIVE SESSION FOLLOW-UP - No follow-up actions necessary

2. DISCUSSION ON NEW STATION STATUS - all was covered in Executive session pursuant with Idaho Code § 74-206 the board will convene in Executive Session to acquire an interest in real property not owned by a public agency [Idaho Code §74-206(1)(c)].

   1. Review Site Plan 

   2. Geotechnical Report

   3. Plans Moving Forward

6. ADJOURNMENT- Commissioner Curtis made the motion and Commissioner Johnson seconded to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20pm.
