SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES

NBFD Fire Station – 444 E. Chubbuck Road

September 21, 2023 @ 5:30pm

1. OPEN MEETING - Commissioner Shell opened the meeting at 5:34 pm.

2. ROLL CALL - Commissioner Curtis, Commissioner Johnson, Commissioner Shell, Board Secretary Millar.

3. ACTION ITEMS

   1. Approval of Agenda - The motion was made by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Curtis to approve the agenda. The motion passed unanimously.

4. EXECUTIVE SESSION

   1. Pursuant to Idaho Code § 74-206 the board will convene in Executive Session to consider personnel matters [Idaho Code § 74-206(1)(a) & (b)].

      1. Executive session opened at 5:34pm.

      2. Executive session was adjourned at 5:38pm.

   2. The motion was made by Commissioner Curtis and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to buy out Mark Brood’s contract at the cost of $6,000. The motion passed unanimously.

5. ADJOURNMENT

   1. The motion was made by Commissioner Johnson and seconded by Commissioner Curtis to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

   2. The meeting was adjourned at 5:39pm.
